"I wouldn't.. have pu-ushed you away.. I ha-ave no reason to.." He mumbled, running his finger across the palm of his hand before pulling his hand away, coughing into his hand. He walked over to the fridge again, grabbing another bottle of water. He took a long sip from it, then sat it on the floor. "I think you're.. o-okay.."

"So are you." He drew his own hand bacj, curling up lazily on the sofa. He couldn't remember if he had work or not today, but he honestly didn't care, would aboid the place if it meant a little loger not poking fun or yelling at people.
Which surprised him, because he found amusement in such things. Especially in bothering Britton ajd Lillaine.

Nash just nodded, tapping his fingers on his knees. He didn't know what else to say. Being partially deaf was useful in a way; no one expected him to keep a conversation. But sometimes he thought it was because they assumed he was just mentally incapable of doing so.
He ran his hands over his jeans, thinking about how many times he almost died. "Y-you know.. what's i-ironic?" He asked, glancing over at Dylan, then down at his hands again. "M-my mom wa-anted to have me ab..orted.. But it d-didn't work.. Then m-my step mother tr-tried to kill me.. I think I h.. ave terrible luck wi-ith women." He chewed on his lip, wondering if he was here for a reason, or just by sheer luck.

Dylan laughed, giving him a brief pat on the shoulder. "You're not the only one," He admitted. "My parents are gay, I have two brothers who are twins and one's as crazy as a bat, and women are-....a problem for me." He shrugged.

Nash nodded, biting his lip again. "I just.. am bad.. with boys a-and girls.. So I think I.. am j-just going to be a-alone, you know? B-besides, m-my mom would dis.. own me." He shrugged, drumming his fingers on his legs. He didn't bother looking up, didn't feel like he needed to see the reaction on Dylan's face.
"A-and if any animals were.. crazy it would b-be an o-owl." He said with a slight smile, folding his hands in his lap.

Dylan shook his head in exasperation, preferring to keep his rathy nastily worded opinion to himself at the remark of being disowned. Nash was nineteen.. Plus he still had his dad, right?
He smirked at the next comment, amused. "An owl? And why is that?" He teased.

Nash chuckled a bit. "B-because any animal th-that can turn it's head.. completely a-around and lurks around a-at night and can peep into yo..ur windows i-isn't sane by any means." He smiled over at the boy. "B-besdies.. bats ha-ave homosexual tendencies. W-which makes them okay." He leaned back against the sofa, biting his lip a bit. "I think s-some bugs do t-too."

Dylan chuckled. "As I said, crazy as a bat," He taunted. "I think out of the five of us at my house, one will ever have luck with girls."
He rubbed at his neck again. "So, what kinds of things do you like to do?" He huffed, gazing back over at him with another tilt of the lips.

"B-bats aren't /crazy/, D-Dylan." He said with a laugh, looking over at him. "And i-if it's only one, my money would b-be o.. on you. I'm pretty sure I kn-know a few girls who would s-sell a limb to date you." He drummed his fingers on his thigh, leaving out the 'and I probably would too' out of his sentence.
"I l-like to r.. ead. A-and swim.. And talk to my dad b-because he's really cool.. A-and play drums.." He realized just how lame he sounded and looked away, deciding it was time to shut up.

Dylan grinned. "Wrong. I avoid relationships." he listened as Nashville began to explain the things he was interested in and what he liked doing.
"Hm, interesting. Cute." He nodded, studying him a moment. "The swimming doesn't surprise me at all though." He laughed softly, shaking his head at his own words, picking his hat up and playing with the flat bill.
