"We got a whole lot of people whose name starts with D in this house, huh?" She said quietly, watching the bird. She sighed, hearing her sister and her friend upstairs. She moved closer to Devon, wrapping her arms around his, letting his hand rest in her lap.
"So, you wanna go to the park or something?" She asked, not interested in hearing her sister's antics upstairs. "We can go to the movies or something.."

Devon chewed on his lip rings thoughtfully as she listed things they could do. "I don't care," he mumbled softly, shrugging indifferently.
He stared down at his lap for a moment. They could go to the park, he supposed. Wondered if the investigators were gone or not yet though. But movies, he didn't think he had ever been in a theater before honestly. It could be a new experience...

"Mkay." She said, getting up and walking upstairs. She pulled out Duskin's old clothes, pulling out a pair of jeans and a t shirt. She walked back downstairs, handing them to him. "You can go and change in the downstairs bathroom." She said, then walked upstairs, changing into a white dress that came down just past her knees. She pulled on her black converse. She walked downstairs, grabbing her car keys. She grabbed her hair clip from the table, pulling her curls up into it.

Devon took the clothes offered and headed into the bathroom, moving his own blood stained clothes and pulling the knew ones on, and hand running through his hair. He removed the eyeliner from the pocket of his jeans on the floor and carefully applied it around his eyes after he washed his face with water.
Finally satisfied, he rolled up his dirty clothes and carried them to the living room, gazing over at Dallas patiently while she put up her hair, original thoughts of taking advantage of her and her home no longer there.

"Hey." She said softly with a smile, pulling her dress back down over her knees. Duskin had always told her she looked beautiful in the simplest things, but she never believed him. Her sister always had to wear extravagant clothes, tons of make-up, and straighten her hair.
"Mkay.." She said to herself, grabbing her wallet out of her bag. She looked in it, and realized Duskin must have snuck money into it. She held it in her hand, and walked out the door, getting into her car. She put her wallet in her lap, and once Devon was in the car, she pulled out of the driveway, and made her way to the mall. She pulled into the parking lot, killed the engine, and got out the car. "We don't have to go in. The movie theater is right next door." She said. She thought about taking his hand so he wouldn't get lost, but she decided against it. That might make it seem like they were dating. She smiled at the guy behind the glass, and handed him her money. "Two please." She took the tickets from him, and handed Devon his. She looked up at what was playing, not sure what she wanted to see.
"Anything sound good?" She asked, looking over at him.

Devon followed her out of the house and to the car, gazing out the window as they left and soon pulled into the parking lot of the mall. He got out, trailing after her towards the theater, and stared at the ticket once she payed for it and handed it to him. Her question drew him back and he looked up, shrugging. "I don't watch movies much.." He mumbled. There was no tv in his room, so he only ever saw anything if he was lucky enough to be let out long enough.

"Okay.. Well.." She bit her lip. She looked over the movies again, then decided on Edward Scissorhands. "I used to watch that a lot. And then the theater has been replaying all the older Johnny Depp movies.." She trailed off, looking around.
"You wanna get popcorn and candy or just go find our seats?" She asked, looking up at him. He didn't seem very comfortable, so she placed her hand on his arm, rubbing it gently. "We can just go find our seats. There's a lot of people.." She said. She guided him to the furthest back room. She handed him her ticket, and looked around while it was still light. She walked to a place where there probably wouldn't be a lot of people, even when the movie started and sat down.

"Okay..." He murmured when she picked out a movie, eyeing the others around them. He stared at a little kid hesitantly, watched her hide behind her fathers leg and looked away, glancing up as Dallas began asking other things.
This time he stayed silent, letting her lead him down the hall and into one of the theater rooms, having relaxed some at her touch. It wasn't that he was afraid, but that he honestly didn't know how to act around people. Sitting in the seat, he glanced around at the new surroundings curiously.

Dallas leaned back in her seat, holding her dress over her knees. She looked up at the previews they were showing for a bunch of the new Disney movies, but none of them interested her. When the lights dimmed, she reached over, putting her hand on his knee. She looked up at the screen as the old woman began to tell the story about how it snowed. Dallas wanted to move over and curl up against him, but decided she had better not. She yawned, propping her feet up on the folded down seat in front of her.

Devon dropped his gaze for a moment as she rested her hand on his knee, and he took it gently with his own before gazing back at the screen, head tilting some. Finally he eased up a little more, sliding down some in his seat lazily.
Eyes remained fixed on the screen, clearly, completely intrigued by the motion picture playing out before them, unaware of the girl in an isle across from them sideglancing their way.
