Charlie bounced into the house in her work uniform, working her hardest to keep the bags she was carrying off the ground. "Guys I have presents!" She called. She didn't really realize that Christmas was a few days ago. She didn't understand the concept of holidays at all. But better late than never. "Oops. I forgot to knock." She pouted, pushing the bags into the middle of the room.

Shawn lifted his head from the couch. He waved at her. "S'okay," He drawled softly, looking towards a sleeping Cole, now that him and Baz had come home from their trip. Something had happened, something scared Cole around Baz when they'd returned.
And then Tyler was skittering down the stairs to tug Harlie close, giving her a deep, loving kiss.

Charlie giggled, wrapping her arms around his neck as she kissed him back. "You'd think you hadn't seen me in forever." She smiled, giving him another gentle kiss. "Okay, sit. And I didn't bother wrapping cause I didn't feel like picking it up." She sat down, handing them each their presents. She scooted closer, handing Shawn a baby blue jacket. "To match your pretty eyes." She put Cole's books by him, not bothering to wake him. Then she slid Jacob the new football she'd got him, and the clothes she'd found for the kids before she handed Tyler the pocket watch and bracelet she'd got him. "Something told me you needed the watch. And the bracelet's just awesome."

"Aw thanks Charlie," Shawn murmured with a smile, pulling it on to test its fit.
Jacob leaned back smiling in thanks before getting up to wake the kids, since he'd taken them over night.
Tyler smiled, kissed the side of her head. "I can definitely use it. Thank you baby."

She smiled, laying her head down on his knee. He meant so much more to her now that he'd been taken away. She didn't realize just how badly life would suck without him. She climbed up into his lap, laying her head on his shoulder. "Look. My skirt's not so big. I got it fixed." She looked up at him, hoping he wasn't still worried.

Tyler kissed the side of her head gently. "It's cute.." He murmured. He was struggling, but doing his best now that she was back.
Cole whimpered in his sleep something about Bas, but didn't stur, even as Jacob returned with a kid on each hip.

Charlie looked back at Cole, clearly concerned. That and she hadn't seen him in forever. She brightened up when she saw the puppies. "Tyler, look at them!" She whispered, holding her arms out to take them. "Oh they've gotten so big, Jacob!"

Jacob chuckled, handing them over, and Tyler grinned.
"I know. They're so bad too, chewing on everything." He wrinkled his nose, standing as Cole began to cry. He went over and shook his gently. "Hey. You were having a nightmare.."

She held the two little kids close to her, giving them each a kiss to the top of their head. "Charlie loves you both to pieces!" She told them, looking over as Cole started to cry. She didn't know what he was so upset about, why he'd be crying in his sleep. "It's okay, Cole." She told him quietly, hugging the puppies to her.

Cole rubbed warily at an eye, sitting up slowly, the two giggling in her arms.
"Hey.." He murmured softly, as if nithing had just happened.
Tyler frowned. None of them had been able to get it out of him, what he was bothered by, what had possibly happened.
Jacob sat down quietly, watching the others.
