Connor shrugged almost indifferenty. "He s-stepped on i-it." He held his left hand out, running his free hand through Bandt's hair quietly.

Deacon carefully turned it over, chewing on his lip. He could see one finger out of place, the rest would probably heal fine. He didn't have a belt for him to bite on, so he figured the best he could do was distract him. He leaned close, kissing him softly, his hand running up his arm.

Connor winced as Deacon took his hand, and at first he barely kissed back. Then his lips parted faintly and his eyes closed, longing for that knowledge that he was still loved by somebody, that not all was lost.

Deacon slowly ran his tongue over Connor's bottom lip. He deepend the kiss, reaching up to cup his cheek gently. After a moment, he reached down, quickly pulling his finger back into place. "I love you." He said quietly, slowly wrapping his hand for him.

Connor whimpered in pain. But shock and his adaption to abuse kept him from crying out. He rested his head on Deacon's shoulder at the words, pulling Bandit closer as well as he cried.

Deacon carefully wrapped his arms around him, hugging him close. He kissed the top of his head, closing his eyes. "I love you more than anything.. You mean more to me than anyone ever has." He breathed. He gently tipped his chin back, kissing him softly.

Connor met the kiss tenderly, closing his eyes. "I don't know why I-I hoped things would b-be different.." He mumbled. "Why h-he'd want me back.."

"Everyone wants their parent to want them.." Deacon said quietly, slowly running his fingers through Connor's hair. He kissed his temple, glancing down at Bandit. "I'd love to have my parents back.. But sometimes we're stronger without them."

"Losing m-mine tore me apart.." He rubbed Deacon's chest slowly, kissed his jaw. "Until you f-found me..but I was already s-so far gone.." His jaw trembled.

"But I love you all the same." He said quietly. He reached up, slowly stroking his cheek. "Me and Bandit will always love you. And we'll always be here for you." He kissed his forehead. He carefully wrapped his arms around him, hugging him gently.
