Cory yowled in faint complaint. He hadn't taken enough of the drug to be out of it, just enough to be a little more trouble than usual. If you could call him being trouble unusual in the first plae, that is. Which you couldn't.
Watching her climb into the tree, he rolled onto his back, gazing up at her in amusement. She was even the same type of Panthera he was. He found it interesting.

Hunter relaxed a bit when he rolled onto his back. She let one of her paws hang off the side of the branch she was laying on, laid her head down on the other, and stared down at him curiously. She thought it was an odd coincidence that one of the first people she'd met here was so similar to her. The only real physical differences were his larger male body, and the blue eyes that made him look young like her brother. 'So strange.'
Quickly growing bored, she jumped down from the tree and padded towards him. Sitting down next to him, she reached out one dark paw again and batted at him.

Cory growled as she batted at him, but his purr still rumbled within him as he gazed at her. He whacked her upside the head lightly, tail flicking thoughtfully as he narrowed his eyes, watching her curiously.
He dragged a paw through the grass, gazing up at the dark sky after a moment before he yawned, tongue curling back to reveal sharp teeth.

Hunter yawned almost immediately after the male did--for some reason, seeing people yawn had always made her a bit drowsy. She stood and turned in a circle to keep herself awake, but ended up trampling the grass underneath her into a soft-looking circle, which looked so invitingly comfortable that she ended up laying back down on it and curling into a ball.
She kept her eyes open, watching the male curiously. She wondered who he was, and if she even wanted to know who he was. Quite honestly, she probably didn't care. She tended to like people far less on two legs.
