Seth smiled faintly as he watched her go, returning a moment with Jayden, who was now a tiger. A faint smile graced his lips, and he laughed softly at Adele's actions. Cala stirred with the movement and he gently adjusted her so she was sleeping peacefully against the arm of the couch.

"Panthera." He knew it instantly. "My friend Cory is a black jaguar." Smiling sympathetically towards her feline brother, he guessed Adele wasn't much different.

He got up, wincing, and limped to the window, pushing it open to gaze at the dark sky outside. "Watch this."

He fell silent, calling out mentally. And then he raised his arm seconds before a bird's cry rang out. The brown and white eagle hurtled in the window, spreading massive wings and landing on his bare arm. Seth blinked and it began to dump rain outside.

He turned around as Akirema tucked wings to body, and smiled faintly. "I'm Zeus' son."

Jayden slinked off at the mention of panthera. He closed his door with his tail, climbing back up on his bed. He hoped no one would bother him anymore. His mind was thinking of the girl he had met with the bad attitude. How cute she had been. He sighed, and closed his giant tiger eyes.

Adele stepped back as the giant bird flew in. Her eyes widening as rain began to pour. "That's pretty neat." She chirped, walking over to the window to look out. "I'm a cat, but I love the rain." She laughed, and turned back to face the couch, her eyes on the bird. "I would say pretty bird, but pretty isn't even close to the word the describes it."

"I'm just a regular panther, bu a fiesty one at that." Adele seemed to give a wink and smirk toward the boy, before walking back over to the couch and sitting down. "What do you two plan to do now?" she asked, remembering they had no family or home now.

Seth laughed softly, moving for the couch and dropping down with a wince. He heard the rain fall quiet again, smiled faintly. 'No rain tonight, dad?'

He knew there would be no reply, but it made him chuckle nonetheless. As Adele came and sat down beside him, he stretched out the more damaged leg, watching the large bird tuck down to groom in his lap.

"I...honestly don't know.." He murmured quietly with half a shrug, working his jaw in a solemn manner. "Guess I see what money is in the bank...and find a job once I can actually get around again."

"Well you can stay here as long as you like. And if you ain't got the money, we have no problem in helping out." Adele smiled. She was actually being nice, of course the kid was seriously damaged and had just lost his family. "Jayden is a welder at the school, but he welds other things and sells them online. I make clothes and sell them. Which has turned out to be pretty good. I just wish I could expand it. Maybe bring in another designer and open up a store."

Adele brought herself back down to reality as a yawn escaped her lips, her hand sliding up to cover it. "Ha, Sorry if I bored you. But you must be pretty tired, would you want to go to sleep?" She asked, looking toward his already fallen asleep sister, and then back to him.

Seth smiled as he listened to her, stroking the bird gently. "You're already being so helpful, I dunno.."
Her comment about designed intrigued him. "Why don't you talk to my sister about it in the morning? She's not real talkative at first meeting, but she's entertainment enough," He smirked. "And she'd probably be completely interested in helping you out with that designing."

He stretched a bit. "Mm, if you're ready for bed, it's fine by me, I could use the sleep.." He shrugged. He ached though, and had too many thoughts running through his head. "Don't know that I'll be getting much sleep tonight though."

"Don't worry bout it, seriously. When me and Jayden needed help, there was no one around. It's a bad feeling. I wouldn't want anyone to go through that, and I know Jayden wouldn't either." Adele shrugged, smiling lightly. She was having fun talking to the boy. It was the first time she had actually talked to someone about something personal. She stretched, and turned to see Seth more clearly.

"Hmm.. I tend to sleep during the day. Night's when I catch my prey." She laughed, lightly and looked down the hall, thinking Jayden had woken, but he hadn't. "Well, would you like to sleep in the bed at least? I was going to move your sister to the guest bed. They're alot more comfortable than this thing." She patted the couch, and looked towards Seth, waiting for an answer.

Seth smiled faintly, nodding. They had obviously has some bumps and bruises as well, but he wasn't one to pry. "Thank you though, really." He glanced over at Cala a moment, nodded. "I would take her, but, I can't exactly go far." He chuckled sheepishly.

"And I would, but if it's your bed, you deserve it, not me." He smiled again. "I'm fine with the couch," A faint shrug.

"If you're not going to bed yet though, I'll gladly stay up and chat."

"Don't worry, I'm a strong girl." She laughed, as she carefully walked over to the girl and lifted her in a craddle, resting the girl's head on Adele's shoulder. She tip-toed down the hall, and lightly placed the girl in the bed, grabbing a blanket to cover her. Out of a closet, she also grabbed another blanket and a pillow. Walking out of the guest room, she walked straight across to her room. Adele changed quickly into shorts and a comfortable tshirt.

As she returned to the living room she smiled, and walked over to the couch, sitting down where Seth wasn't sprawled out. "Who cares if it's my room? You deserve a good sleep. And it wont be hard to get you there. We have a wheelchair." Adele didn't want him to sleep on the lumpy couch. It wouldn't be il morning that he got his pain medicine and this would cause him alot of pain, sleeping on it all night.

Seth wasn't in a mood to banter and shrugged, eyes still holding his smile. "Your choice." He watched Akirema spread wings to clean under them, then step gracefully over to Adele, perching in her lap to tuck head under wing stubbornly.

He smiled crookedly. "Who woulda guessed the bird would sleep on the cat?" He teased, shifting his weight a bit to get more comfortable. He ran his free hand through his hair, blaying with the sling absently, adjusting it some.

"Well then, you gotta slip in the bed." She looked down at her lap, before looking toward the bird. A smile tugged at her lips. The colors looked amazing on it. It was funny that it would perch on her lap. Laughing at his comment, she stroked the bird lightly before placing her hand on the arm rest. "I want to apologize in advance if Jayden is a bit cranky. He truly is a nice person on the inside. He just doesn't like building relationships with people." She sighed.

Adele was really all her brother had. But Adele had everything, she was out going and knew how to get what wanted. They were complete oposites. "Ha, I should probably stop running in and out on him." She shrugged, looking over at Seth. "Are you and your sister close?"
