Seth shifted his weight some, wincing with the action. Vaguely he could hear the murmurs of others in the room, groaned again. She must have heard it because the question 'kid?' rang in his ears.
Tilting his head, he opened his eyes, gazing at her a moment. Shifting his weight again he drew in a soft breath, drawing his left knee up at an angle so his foot was flat on the bed. He rubbed at his face with his left hand.
"Mm..never had the chance.." He murmured, the faintest of smiles crossing his lips despite his pain. "Name's Seth." He adjusted his right leg a bit, wincing faintly again.
"Sorry...for all the trouble though." He just wanted to get out of here and check up on Cala. It was all rushing back, but he hid any grief, knew she would try the same. It had all fallen apart so fast...
He let out a slow breath, staring up at the ceiling a moment. Damn... they didn't even have a home to go back to anymore... all they had now were the clothes on their backs, and his guitar in the trunk of the cobra. The entire house had gone up.
He had been in too much pain at the time, but upon getting back to the house, him and his sister had cried for a good ten minutes in each others arms before she finally talked him into giving her the keys to his car.
He eyed the clock. "Would you mind...if we crashed at your place tonight? I understand if not, hell, two fuckin' strangers you found in the parking lot." He bit at his lip a moment. "I just... don't know where else to go." He sat up a bit with another slight grimace, careful of the IVs and monitors.

"Adele" She smiled, sweetly, watching as he rolled in pain. She felt sorry for him. It must be horrible to lose everything and then end up in a hospital. She sighed, placing her hands on the wheelchair in front of her. "It's no trouble at all.. Especially when we get back to the apartment. Jayden will be thanking you forever for bringing me home." Adele laughed lightly.
"You two can stay as long as you like. There's a guest bed and one of ya'll can have mine or Jayden's room." She was basically speaking the words Jayden would say. He always told her to be more nice. A laugh at the thought, but she stopped when the nurse came back with some papers and prescriptions. "Thanks. Before we go back to the apartment, I'm gonna drop off your medicine so I can pick it up in the morning for you, because you'll be hurting like a bitch.. trust me."
"You ready to go?" Adele asked, looking at the wheelchair and then back up to Seth. "We can leave whenever you want." Her hook-ups in the hospital came in handy every once and awhie. Thank god she had them though, or what would she have done? Seth would have had to stay in the hospital for at least a night before they let him go. Adele stood from her chair, and scooted the wheelchair over to the bed to make it easier to climb into. Her arms extended to help Seth get into the wheelchair.

Seth smirked faintly at her first comment before glancing at the wheelchair. Better than walking to the car with a splintered shin, he supposed. Glancing up at the person came in, he watched the exchange of paperwork, sitting still so the IVs and the monitors could be removed.
Once they were, he rolled his good shoulder, realized he didn't even have a shirt now. "Thank you," He murmured at her words, voice sincere. She didn't even know how much it meant at this point. Hell, he had been expecting to sleep in his car without a hospital trip at all tonight.
Pushing himself up, he slid to the edge of the hospital bed, taking her hand and standing, putting as little weight on his right leg before he sat down in the wheelchair.
Feeling like an idiot, he again insisted to himself it was better than the pain. He ran a hand through his hair, trying to at least somewhat tame it. "That's fine.." He huffed softly, pulling out his luckily undamaged phone. He knew he couldn't pay it though... not unless he went and got into his parents' bank account.
Calling Cala, he talked with her a moment, voice hushed, explaining that he was okay and they would be there in a little bit. Saying his goodbye, he slid the thing back into his pocket, could already feel that his medication was wearing off. "Nice to meet you, by the way."

"It's nice to meet you too." She smiled, putting her hands on the handles of the wheelchair. Her eyes glanced up as the doctor came in. She looked down at her purse, making sure the papers where in it before she started pushing Seth toward the door. "Thanks, Doc. See ya around." Adele gave an innocent smile to the doctor, and rolled Seth down the hall. Her mind traveled to Jayden, wondering what he was thinking of right now.
She strolled Seth over to the car, and opened the passengers front door. She scooted the wheel chair closer, once again helping Seth get out and into the car with less pain as possible. When he was in, she rolled the wheelchair back and folded it up. Opening the passengers back door, she stuffed it in and closed the door. Adele walked back up, closing Seth's door and then headed around to the drivers side, getting it.
As she drove, she drove more safely this time. Going the speed limit, not weaving in and out of cars. But it wasn't long before they reached the apartments. She parked, and climbed out of the car. Walking around the back, she opened the back door and pulled the chair out before unfolding it and rolling it up to the front side. She opened Seth's door and extended her hands for help. It was much easier getting him out of the car than in.
Adele rolled the wheelchair happily over to the elevator, waiting seconds for it to open. She pushed Seth in, and hit number three. "Sorry, I've been so quiet." She spoke softly as the doors opened and she pushed him out into the hall. "I'm sorry for your loss, and I'm so glad you let me help." There was a sweet tone in her voice as she spoke. Stopping at Jayden's apartment, she knocked on the door.
Jayden opened the door quickly, "Well, thank's for bringing my sister home." He looked at the boy oddly for a moment, noticing he didn't have a shirt. "You want a shirt?" he asked, stepping back so Adele could roll him in.

Seth hauled himself into the car with her help, keeping quiet to the drug store and then her place. Relieved getting out wasn't as difficult, he smiled faintly.
"It's fine," He murmured. "I had..things to think about anyways." He shrugged, tapping on the arm of the wheelchair a tad awkwardly. He never really cared what others thought of him all that much though, glanced up at the sky before they were back inside. He wondered where Akirema was, reminded himself to see if he couldn't call the majestic bird later on.
Once they reached to apartment he glanced up, smirking. "No problem, and that'd be great, thanks."
Cala was off the couch instantly, even more grief passing her face. "It's okay, he mumbled, moving both his legs as proof. "Just real splintered shin is all. It should heal fine."

Jayden walked back into his room, shuffling through his drawers for an old t-shirt. Finally, he found one and walked back out to the living room. "Hope it fits" He said, handing the shirt over to the boy. He looked at the siblings, before walking over to the couch and grabbing a book from the end table. He switched the light on, and began to read.
Adele smiled as Jayden brought the shirt over. But when he went to read a book, she sighed. He was never a peoples person, even if he was nice to let them stay. He just wouldn't talk. "Can I get you two anything?" She asked, trying not to think of her brother to much. If she did, it would turn into a fight between them. But hell will freeze over if he thinks for a second the Adele wouldn't get him involved with these two new strangers. "Jayden, are you doing anything tonight? They need a place to stay."
"One of them can stay in my room, I don't mind." He advoided her first question. She knew the answer. Of course he was going to go out. The night was the only time he felt like he could really be himself, and it wasn't like he could change into a tiger in front of the new strangers.
"So your not going out?"
"Yes, I am. But I will be home in the morning like always." His voice drawled as he tried to focus on his book.

Seth smiled. "Thanks," He huffed. Removing the sling his arm was in and carefully pulling on the shirt. He replaced the sling with a grimace.
Cala watched the two quietly, then looked distantly at the floor. Seth hauled himself carefully to his feet, teeth gritting as he limped to the couch and sat down.
"You should stay off of that," Cala complained. He only pulled her closer, hugging her tight. It was then that she clearly cracked. The sixteen year old his her face against his good shoulder, her own shoulders shaking with her silenced cries.

Jayden felt uneasy as the girl began to cry. The only girl he ever had to deal with was Adele, and she never cried. He moved from his seat on the couch, looking down the hall. "Just knock on the door if you need me, If I don't answer I probably went out through the window." He shrugged slinking back to his room and shutting the door. He quickly pulled his clothes off, and his body transformed from a man to a giant tiger that curled up on the bed to take a little cat nap.
Adele watched Jayden leave, and took his spot on the couch. "One of you can also have my room. So it looks like you both have a bed, and please stay as long as you want. Jayden needs to grow used to people besides me, and I enjoy company." She smiled at the two as she relaxed back on the couch. "Now, do you two need anything?"

Seth smirked faintly. "Thanks.." He murmured. He knew these two were clearly not human, could feel it. But he didn't know what they were. Absentky he ran his figers through his sister's dark hair.
She had quieted, seemed to be asleep, in fact. He relaxed some. Cala wasn't one to cry, nor was she one to act childish in any way. But losing their parents like that, shaking their perfectly happy life and having him crash the car and end up in the hospital, he knew it was a lot. He was grieving inside, but it would not be made as clear.
"She's asleep, I'm fine right now though." He sighed softly. Mischief briefly danced in his eyes as he glanced her way again, but it was tampered by the wariness of the eventful day. "I know you're not human," He murmured, the corner of his mouth lifting up into half a smile.

"Very smart, but of course, that must mean you're not either." She returned a smirk, and looked down the hall. "Wanna find out what Jayden is?" She giggled to herself, knowing Jayden would hate this. "Don't move." Adele looked back at him, and laughed lightly before sneaking down the hall to Jayden's room and peeking the door open a tad.
"Jayden, you can come out. They went to sleep." Adele stepped into the room for a short moment, eyeing the sleeping tiger on the bed. "Oh, Jaydenn. Come protect me, I'm watching a scary movie." Jayden huffed, and let out a growl. Adele just had a smile on her face. They were so connected, it was like they could read each others minds sometimes. "Let's go!" She chirped and pulled on Jayden's tail.
Jayden growled lowly, before slinking off the bed and following Adele down the hall. He didn't notice Adele wink at the boy on the couch. She led him around the back of the couch, before sitting back in her spot. Jayden's lips sneered over his teeth when he saw the boy. How could Adele do this? She knew he hated it. Adele laughed and patted his head. "Isn't he adorable?" Adele asked.
