"Fallen angel?" He questioned, cocking his head to the side the slightest bit to look at her. He crossed his arms over his chest, glancing around warily, didn't want to go back to the alley.

"Mhmm, coolest creature to be." She laughed lightly. Her head perked up slightly as she slipped the coin back into her pocket. "And you would be..?" Assuming he wasn't human. Most were oblivious to the weird things, even if it did happen in front of their eyes. Her eyes scanned the area, not sure of where to go. Gryphon's legs were becoming weary, they had been walking for awhile now. It wasn't a far walk from her apartment, but she was almost sure that it would make him uneasy.

Zach smirked, scoffing faintly. "Sure," He huffed, seemed a little more normal now that he was talking to her instead of himself. "Berserker." He looked around quietly, rolling his shoulders a bit.

"Hm, you would be the first one I've met," Gryphon spoke, taking a side glance at him, "So, exactly what would that be?" It probably sounded dumb, but she honestly didn't know. She chewed on her bottom lip, eyes watching the cracks in the sidewalk slowly disappear behind them. "Would you mind if we went to my home?"

"Can shift into a wolf, bear, boar.." He shrugged. "Real strong, descendants of Greek warriors.." He looked around warily, shook his head. "That's okay.." If anythjng, he was curious. He hadn't been inside somebody's home in forever.

She nodded, turning down a street that lead to the apartments. "Well, if you get uncomfortable just let me know.." Gryphon gave a half smile, her eyes connecting with his for a moment. "So, descendants of Greek warriors? Seems like you could have a job as a cool writer or a police officer." She knew she kept coming back to it, but she felt like he needed to believe he could actually do something.
Sighing, Gryphon started up the stairs to the third floor, walking straight into her apartment. "You know.. I'm not trying to offend you by saying that..?" 'I just don't think it's good to give up on yourself.' But the last part would be almost hypocritical. Closing the door behind him, she made her way to the kitchen, stopping by the refrigerator to grab two cold drinks. "I hope you like coke, if not, there's water.." She sat the soda can on the counter, looking around her beach-y themed living room.

Zach scoffed. "Police, right.." He muttered, rubbing at his cut hand absently. He followed her inside, shrugging at the question, and took the soda can, popping the tab as he looked around curiously. After a moment he set his notebook and the bag on the table, taking a sip of soda.

Gryphon just shook her head at his remark, muttering something to herself. "I only work at Abercrombie and Fitch, so don't listen to me." She shrugged and pulled out two chairs they sat around a rounded wooden table. "Come sit," She patted the seat next to her. "As you saw from earlier, I don't bite."

Zach rose an eyebrow, smirking faintly. Nobody could guess what he was really like. Only Colton had seen the crazy, fun side of him. Once. He sat down next to her, turning the can around and around in his hands for a moment before shifting his weight and looking around again.

"I have some games if you want to play, since you don't like conversation very much." Gryphon couldn't help but laugh. She was enjoying this, even if she was the one doing most of the talking. "I got plenty of board games.. They're the only thing I never really grew out of when I got older," She smiled, opening her own can of soda and taking a drink.
