"Yeah....hospital almost every night." He left out a slow breath. "Wasn't fun.." He smiled faintly at her. "He was? You never know, they still might." He barely seemed bothered by the weight on his shoulder, closing the album and running his hands over it thoughtfully. "Now it's the other way around," He mumbled. "Only I gotta watch Trez get old." His eyebrows furrowed. "I don't wanna be immortal."

"They might." She agreed, watching him flip through the pages. She reached up, brushing her hair out of her face.

"Trez scares me.. I'm afraid he's gonna die or something. But at least now you can be there for him.. Watch him have little babies, get married. Whatever it is he wants to do. He has that now. So do you. You're both really lucky you still have some piece of your family here.." She sat back on her heels, pushing her hair out of her face again.

"I dunno. Make the best of the time you have while he's here.." She said, crawling off the bed clumsily. "I wish I would have known that. I would have hugged everyone a whole lot more. But hey, I'm no psychic."

"Trez scares everyone," He murmured with a smile. "Yeah..guess you're right. I won't have him forever.." He caught her wrist, standing as well and setting the album on the dresser. He hugged her carefully, stepped back with a smile. "You still can, if you start now. Doesn't mean everything in your life has to go bad..there's always something, there's gotta be in order to get through it. I had Trez...he's the only reason I didn't do something stupid before I died. You just gotta find that person.."

She wrapped her arms gently around him, then reached up again to her neck once he let go.

"I dunno. I can do bad on my own. I've never had a boyfriend. Everyone always thought I was weird. I guess they would be weird too, if they saw their family butchered like a bunch of animals. I don't think the word 'normal' exists in your head anymore when you see that.." She shrugged, chewing on her lip. She walked out of his room, her hand still up to her neck. She sat down in Sean's lap with a smile, crossing her legs.

"Have you texted Nash yet?" She asked, looking up at him with a smile.

Xander frowned a bit, following her quietly out of the room. He didn't know what to say to that, just knew she was the one he was supposed to somehow help, protect. But from what? The drugs? He couldn't just...make things better..

He watched her climb into Sean's lap, the other male smiling. "I texted him, yeah. Asked him if he was free to hang out this weekend." He draped an arm around her, leaning back. Xander turned away to approach Trez again.

"Oh, he's gonna say yeah. Trust me. That kid has a thing for you." She smiled, pulling his hand into her lap. She played with his fingers, a little more interested in them than a girl her age should be. "At least you didn't kill him, right?" She asked with a smile. She rocked back and forth a bit, still playing with his fingers. She started bouncing in Sean's lap, looking over at Xander.

"I remember the song!" She said with a smile. She realized she was bouncing on Sean and stopped. "Sorry, that's Nash's job." She said with a smirk, tilting her head back to look at him.

Xander turned at her shout, heard Sean grunt in complaint and laughed.

Sean stuck his tongue out. "Whatever," He complained, shaking his hair out in a clear attempt to mask his embarrassment.

"Yeah?" He padded towards them, leaning against the back of the couch curiously. "And? Now you gotta sing it."

He glanced over his shoulder at Trez laughed.

"I did good, huh? I remembered the whole thing." She smiled, obviously proud of the small feat.

Another smile grew on his lips. Trez was acting a bit awkward, but Xan knew he would settle with the idea that he was back soon enough.
Sean rubbed at her back as she sang, and when she finished he ruffled her hair. Xander smirked faintly. "Yeah, you don't have a bad voice, either." He smiled a little more, hauling himself over the back of the couch and collapsing on it lazily.

"The only thing good about sounding like a little kid is being able to order off the kid's menu from room service." She said with a smile. She ran her hand through her hair, then reached back to mess with Sean's hair before she curled up in his lap, laying against his chest. She watched Xander for a minute, then slowly moved her feet over to him, propping them up on his legs.

"Trez doesn't like my feet." She said with a smirk, glancing over at Trez. "He tickled me. The nerve of him." She said with a laugh, snuggling closer to Sean.
