Connor just held her close to himself, breaths slow and relaxed. He watched her a moment, then closed his eyes.

Deacon reached for her other hand, smiling as she wrapped her hand around his finger. She sucked quietly on her fingers, slowly falling asleep for her daily nap. Deacon smiled, closing his eyes as he gently wrapped his hand around her's.

Connor tilted his head, looking over at him with a tired smile. He rubbed Bandit's back slowly as she drifted off to sleep.

Deacon carefully picked her up, carrying her upstairs to her room. He walked back downstairs, holding out his hand to help Connor up. "You wanna go take a nap? You look tired."

Deacon smiled, kissing him gently. "You just sit and relax. If you fall asleep, I'm sure Bandit will do a fine job of waking you up." He teased, hugging him gently before he walked outside to finish the laundry he'd started.

He smiled, watching him go before slinking towards the couch. He pulled his legs up, careful not to crush his wings as he curled up quietly and yawned. But despite himself, he was soon asleep anyway, breaths rasping irregularly in his throat.

Deacon sat down in the laundry room, folding the clothes he'd pulled out of the dryer. He put them in a basket, pushing them over to the corner before he walked inside. He grabbed a book and curled up on his chair, reading it slowly.

Connor shifted his weight a bit at the sound of Deacon's return, but he didn't wake. He licked his lips, content and relaxed for once.

Deacon read his book quietly, not looking up until Bandit came down the stairs. He pulled her into his lap, hugging her close until she fell asleep again. He opened his book again, reading it as he rocked her.
